During the design stage, sketches, final drawings, prototypes, samples and correspondence, noting any amendments to the original design proposal are compiled. In preparation for fabrication and construction, engineering specifications and certification are obtained from a structural engineer detailing the materials, structure, location and plans for transport and installation.
